Frequently Asked Questions

What grade levels are your ESL resources designed for?

Most of my resources are made for middle and high school ESL classrooms. They work best for grades 6–12, but some teachers have successfully used the beginner-level materials with upper elementary students too.

Do you have resources for newcomers with little or no English?

Yes! I’ve created materials specifically for newcomers with limited English. These include simple vocabulary, sentence frames, visuals, and speaking support to help build confidence from day one.

Where can I get ESL station activities for secondary students?

My ESL stations are only available inside the ESL Teacher Membership at this time. Each month, members get 10 new stations that support reading, writing, listening, and speaking—with leveled directions for newcomers, intermediate, and advanced learners. They're designed to be flexible and print-ready for small groups or independent work.

Can I use your ESL stations without doing full rotations?

Absolutely. The stations are flexible—you can use them as independent tasks, small group work, or even whole-class practice. You don’t have to run a full rotation model to make them work.

How are your reading passages different from other ESL texts?

All of my reading passages are leveled (beginner, intermediate, and advanced) and written specifically for ESL students. They’re designed to build academic vocabulary, comprehension, and confidence—while keeping content engaging and age-appropriate for older students.

How often do you add new resources to the membership?

I add new leveled ESL resources to the membership every month. Each update follows a seasonal or academic theme and includes Skill Builders, station activities, and language tasks designed to support reading, writing, speaking, grammar, and vocabulary. Members get access to each new monthly set as it's released.

Do your materials support ESL test prep like TELPAS, WIDA, or academic tests?

Yes! Many of my resources include reading passages with test-style questions, writing prompts aligned to TELPAS, and vocabulary + grammar practice that support WIDA language goals. They’re designed to help you prepare your students without “teaching to the test.”

Can I cancel the membership anytime?

Yes, you can cancel anytime. There’s no long-term commitment. You'll keep access until the end of your billing cycle, and you can rejoin later if needed.

What if I need help finding the right resource for my class?

I’m always happy to help! Just reach out through my contact form and let me know your students’ grade level and proficiency range—I’ll point you in the right direction.
