It has lessened my planning time since the topics are relevant for the students. The units contain academic vocabulary appropriate for all 3 proficiency levels. The speaking activities have been helpful because all the students can participate since there are 3 levels of questions. I use the speaking activities after the reading, writing and vocabulary activities. I also used the ETC reading as quick assessments for the students. Monica is very helpful and responds quickly if you have questions. I use the topics and activities after showing a video related to the topics and have students complete a project after each topics. For my 40 minutes class, each daily set of slides takes more than one class period.
